Learn Spanish

The Spanish GCSE programme of study covers key themes, including:

• Identity and Culture: family, friends, food, leisure, technology, customs, cultural traditions etc
• Local, National, International and Global Issues: travel, transactions, destinations, regions and countries, social issues, global issues such as environment, tourism, sports, music, campaigns etc
• Current and Future Studies, Employment: school, education, aspirations, using languages out of the classroom, volunteering and training, careers, economy, cross-cultural relationships etc

Vocabulary and understanding relating to these themes will be considered through the key skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Both Spanish and English cultures will be studied.
